The Office of the Prime Minister (Gender and Child Affairs) in collaboration with UNICEF, will be hosting the 4th Annual Child Rights Ambassadors (CRA) Programme! The CRA Programme is a strategy which seeks to provide a platform which gives children the opportunity to be ambassadors for their rights through educating peers and adults on the rights of the child and accompanying responsibilities. The Programme also fosters participation by allowing children to speak out publicly on issues that affect them.


In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated in person restrictions, the 2020 Child Rights Ambassadors (CRA) Programme will be held virtually. This year the programme will consists of:


  1. A one day dynamic child rights and responsibilities webinar and creative tutorial, carded for Friday 13th November 2020 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm, educating the child ambassadors on child rights and responsibilities. This webinar will also entail a presentation on how to use social media for child rights advocacy, how to create graphics and video content, and how to develop these creative skills.


  1. The creation of a graphic design and video on child rights and responsibilities.


3.   Social media engagement with the opportunity to win prizes and other sustainable opportunities


The deadline for submission is Monday 9th November, 2020. Exciting prizes are to be won including laptops and tablets.
