The Department of Youth Affairs (DYA) has embarked on yet another training programme as the latest move in a series of efforts to build capacity and maximise efficiency. Monday May 10, 2021 marked the first leg of a three-day virtual staff training session. The Department also recently concluded an intensive Professional Development Workshop facilitated by the Department of Behavioural Sciences attached to the University of the West Indies (UWI).

All members of staff within the DYA will be exposed to the latest initiative, which will be facilitated by a diverse group of stakeholders inclusive of Tobago Information Technology Limited and the Junior Chamber International. Areas such as conflict resolution, communication and more will be targeted. This training will conclude on Wednesday May 12, 2021.

The Division of Sport and Youth Affairs remains committed to improving the delivery of services, resources and opportunities to support the development of Tobago’s sporting and youth landscapes.
