Two Warriors Selected for National Duty

The 2020 edition of the UANA Swimming Cup is set to take place from 21st – 23rd February,  at the Videna Aquatic Complex in Lima, Peru. The swimming cup will host 41 countries from North America, Central America and South America, Canada and the Caribbean Islands.

Member of the Tobago YMCA Aqua Warriors and National Swimmer, Jacob Cox was selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Swimming Cup in the 11 – 12 Boys Age group category. Cox will compete in the 100-meter Backstroke event, 100-meter Breaststroke event and 200-meter Individual Medley event.

Mosi Denoon, Head coach of the Tobago YMCA Aqua Warriors, was also selected by the Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad and Tobago as the Head Coach and Chef de Mission of the Trinidad and Tobago National Swim Team heading to Lima, Peru.

The national swim team chosen for the UANA Swimming Cup comprises of fourteen swimmers of varying age categories. The national team will be departing for Peru on 19th February and are set to return on 24th February 2020.
