The Division of Sport and Youth Affairs seeks to clarify media reports on the facilities at the Plymouth Recreation Ground.

Reports are that on November 10th, during a Girls Secondary School football game there was no access to bathroom facilities. The Department of Sport was not aware of said usage of the venue. All stakeholders are encouraged to inform the Department of Sport of any planned activity for the grounds in advance to facilitate the provision of technical support.

In the absence of prior notification, the aforementioned amenities will be inaccessible. These measures are being employed to address recurring instances of vandalism. Persons wishing to utilise any sporting facility or seeking further information can contact the Department of Sport via telephone at 612-3792 (DSYA) ext. 1040, 1006 0r by visiting www.thasportandyouth.com.
