TCA cricket action continues

As the Tobago Cricket Association (TCA) continues with its 40 Overs Tournament and the 2020 cricket season, Scarborough/Mason Hall Cricket Club crushed Georgia Cricket Club in open play at the Shaw Park Recreation Ground on Saturday February 8.

Georgia 49 (16) – (Jaime Boyce 4/6, Navin Stewart 4/23) vs SMCC 54 for 2 (7.3) – (Josh Telemaque 23*, Olando James 23*) – SMCC won by 8 wickets.
 
Meanwhile, matches were also held in Louis D’or, Canaan and Roxborough. C&B United toppled Charlotteville by 137 runs however, Roxborough Strikers vs. Club Crusoe and Police vs. Airports Authority were interrupted by rain. Police were eventually declared winners having had a better run rate when the game was abandoned.

Roxborough Strikers 120 for 6 (20) – (Jahron Alfred 49, Afiba McKenna 28; Jason Persaud 2/16) vs Club Crusoe 80 for 5 (15.2) – (John Delaney 20*, Glennon Sharpe 15; Afiba Mckenna 3/22) – Match abandoned due to rain.
The tournament is set to continue at multiple locations over the next several weeks and conclude in March.
