The Tobago Precision Archery Club is gearing up to host its 3rd annual tournament on Sunday October 13, 2019 at the Tobago Archery Field in Bacolet from 9:00 am. Archers at all levels are expected to showcase their skills during the event, which provides an opportunity to develop and prepare for upcoming competitions. The Division of Sport and Youth Affairs is pleased to provide support to assist in the successful execution of the tournament.

Participants have been grouped into age-based categories which include: Benjamin (Under 12), Cubs (12-15), Cadets (15- 19) and Juniors (19-20). The Senior (21-50) and Masters (50+) categories will be combined. Seven clubs from Trinidad are scheduled to participate in the tournament as well. Two archery divisions will be featured: Compound and Recursive.

President of The Tobago Precision Archery Club, Patrick Welch highlighted, “We’ll have students from the Bishop’s high School, Scarborough Secondary School, Goodwood Secondary School, St. Andrews and Scarborough Methodist will be representing their schools. We invite the public out because the event also serves as a fundraiser to assist the archers in travelling to international events later this year and early next year. Come out and see our Tobago Archers in action, particularly the young talent.”
